Hello, I am now slowly at the Zielgraden to finally fulfill my dream. I have been saving up for a Taylor guitar for a long time. Actually it should be the 214ce dlx. Now I have seen that there are several variants and the ce plus is also new.
What are the serious differences in the 214s and what is special about the plus?
And which of the 214s would be recommended?

The DLX is the predecessor of the Plus. Here, the neck has changed from Sapele to mahogany. Basically, it can be said that the newer Plus with Rosewood is already an absolutely cool guitar. With KOA it sounds a bit bassier, with Rosewood a bit crisper. With varnish a little finer, without varnish a little rougher.
