Grand Auditorium guitars from the Taylor 200 Series have always been a hit with players of all skill levels and styles, and the latest version of the 214ce delivers even more of the clear acoustic tone and refined feel musicians expect from a Taylor.
Laminated walnut forms the back and sides here, which, together with a solid Sitka spruce top, helps the guitar produce lively highs and a resonant, warm low end. This sonic balance makes the guitar an all-purpose instrument—versatile enough to drive powerful cowboy chords and articulate enough to excel in subtler styles like flatpicking or fingerpicking.
Details include a white binding, a three-ring rosette and a Venetian cutaway for easy access to the upper frets. The guitar ships with ES2 electronics for organic, clear amplified tone and comes in a sturdy padded gigbag.
