Martin Guitar 00-10E Retro Joe Bonamassa

Martin 00-10E Retro Joe Bonamassa - Time-Honored 00 Acoustic Guitar With Modern Electronics!

The C.F. Martin & Co. Road Series 00-10E Retro Joe Bonamassa marries the character of a well-played vintage acoustic with the reliable construction and stage-ready qualities of a modern instrument. As a tribute to Joe Bonamassa's prized 1937 Martin 00-18, it delivers a compact 00 body shape, an all-solid wood construction and an integrated Martin E-1 pickup system.

Compact 00 Body With Immediate Response

The 00-14-fret body sits comfortably against the player and supports a controlled, dynamic playing feel. This shape is especially suited to blues, folk, fingerstyle and finely shaded accompaniment. The solid spruce top provides definition, openness and a clear transmission of your picking nuances. Solid sapele back and solid sapele sides round out the tonal picture with warm lows, punchy mids and transparent highs.

Traditional Construction for Resonance and Sustain

Beneath the top, a scalloped spruce X-bracing lets the soundboard vibrate freely and enhances resonance, projection and long sustain. The glued dovetail neck joint creates a stable link between neck and body and supports direct energy transfer. Together these features make the guitar sensitive to light fingerpicking while still giving enough presence for stronger chord work.

Comfortable Neck and High-Quality Playing Surface

The neck, crafted from selected hardwood, features the proven Performing-Artist profile with High Performance taper, allowing comfortable grip across the full neck. The ebony fingerboard offers a firm, even surface and supports precise playing. With 20 frets, a nut width of 44.45 mm and a 16-inch fingerboard radius, the instrument is well suited for open chords, blues phrasing and detailed fingerstyle work.

Martin E-1 Electronics for Stage and Recording

The built-in Martin E-1 system makes the 00-10E Retro Joe Bonamassa ready for amps, PA and recording setups. The natural core character of the solid woods remains clearly audible. A built-in tuner makes quick, discreet tuning easy before a show or between songs. In this way the instrument combines the authentic construction of an acoustic Martin with the practical features you need in professional use.

Well-Chosen Details With Historical Touches

The Old Style 18 rosette, matching fingerboard inlays, a tortoiseshell-effect pickguard and open nickel tuners with butterbean buttons reference classic design elements. An ebony Modern-Belly bridge and a white TUSQ saddle complete the solid specification. Martin Authentic Acoustic Lifespan Phosphor Bronze strings in .012-.054 gauge round off the instrument in a practical way.
