Martin 000E Retro Plus Granadillo Acoustic Guitar!
Meet your brand-new old friend. Inspired by Martin's legendary 28-style guitars, the 000E Retro Plus Granadillo delivers sparkling highs, rich sustain, and timeless balance — your path to tone, comfort, and inspiration wherever the road takes you.
The Martin 000E Retro Plus Granadillo blends timeless inspiration with modern craftsmanship. Drawing from our iconic 28-style models, it carries the familiar Martin legacy while incorporating features designed for today's players. With its compact 000 body size, this guitar strikes a balanced mix of projection and intimacy, making it a versatile instrument for fingerstyle, strumming, and everything in between.
At the heart of its sound is a torrefied solid spruce top, thermally aged to achieve a played-in tone that normally takes decades to develop. This process enhances resonance and openness, giving the guitar a vintage character from the first note. Paired with the solid Granadillo back and sides, it produces ringing sustain, sparkling highs, and a tonal complexity often compared to East Indian rosewood — yet with its own distinct clarity and depth.
