The Mesa Boogie Mark VII Custom Head EB pairs the vast tonal palette of the legendary Mark series with an extraordinary custom configuration in Emerald Bronco, a tan jute front grille cloth and black details. This professional all-tube guitar amp head offers three independent channels with nine modes in total, channel-selectable Multi-Watt power of 25, 45 or 90 watts, the proven Simul-Class output stage and a wealth of stage- and studio-ready features. CabClone IR, MIDI, a 5-band graphic EQ, all-tube reverb and a tube-buffered effects loop make the Mark VII an extremely versatile tube amp for demanding guitarists.

Three Channels and Nine Distinct Sounds

The Mark VII’s three channels each deliver three characterful modes. Channel 1 provides Clean, Fat and Crunch for transparent cleans, fuller warm tones and dynamic crunch. Channel 2 blends Fat and Crunch with the modern Mark VII mode for punchy high-gain tones. Channel 3 covers three defining MESA/Boogie Mark eras with Mark IIB, Mark IIC+ and Mark IV. Each channel has its own controls for Gain, Treble, Mid, Bass, Presence, Master and Reverb plus an individual power selection.

Simul-Class Multi-Watt Power Amp

The powerful Simul-Class power amp uses four MESA 6L6 power tubes and lets you choose 25, 45 or 90 watts per channel. At 25 watts two power tubes run in Class A triode, at 45 watts two tubes run in Class A pentode. The full 90-watt setting uses all four power tubes in the characteristic Simul-Class configuration. That lets you tailor headroom, dynamics and power-amp character to the channel, your playing style, the stage or the recording setup.

CabClone IR for Recording and Direct Sound

The built-in MESA CabClone IR direct interface brings modern recording and live capabilities to a classic tube amp. Eight MESA cabinet IRs are selectable per channel. Features include a balanced XLR direct out, an unbuffered +4 dB line out, USB for IR transfers, a headphone output, IR level control and ground lift. Thanks to the internal amp load, the amp can also run without a connected speaker cabinet. That makes the Mark VII equally suited to traditional guitar cabinets, professional studio work and direct live signals.

Graphic EQ, All-Tube Reverb and Effects Loop

The onboard 5-band graphic EQ can be assigned per channel, disabled or footswitched and allows precise shaping of your basic tone. You also get a footswitchable all-tube spring reverb with separate control for each channel. The footswitchable, tube-buffered effects loop integrates external effects cleanly into the signal path and makes the amp ideal for extensive pedalboards and professional rigs.

MIDI Control for Complex Setups

The Mark VII integrates comprehensively into modern stage and studio rigs via MIDI. Program Change and Control Change messages let you control Channel 1, Channel 2, Channel 3, Reverb, Effects Loop and Graphic EQ. A total of 256 preset memory locations are available. MIDI IN plus MIDI Thru/Out ensure flexible integration with controllers, switching systems and rack setups.

Exclusive Emerald Bronco Finish

The custom configuration combines the striking Emerald Bronco finish with a tan jute grille cloth and black details. The distinctive look underlines the boutique quality of the hand-soldered MESA/Boogie amp. The cabinet is built from marine-grade Baltic birch for strong stability while keeping the classic Mark-series construction. Despite its extensive feature set the head remains compact and pairs well with 1x12, 2x12 or 4x12 speaker cabinets.
