The MARK FIVE: 25 offers 2 channels, 6 modes, and a collection of our renowned Mark Series preamp circuits, served with a bold attitude, packed into two incredibly compact formats.

In this small but powerful 25-watt version, the sounds and features that make the MARK series amps so popular on stage and in the studio have not only been shrunk to their smallest possible size but also further refined and enhanced. The beautifully sparkling cleans and high-gain lead tones have successfully transitioned across power tube platforms, creating a new and exciting tonal color for the MARK series in the MARK FIVE: 25's EL84 duet. The MARK FIVE: 25 is brighter, tighter, more shredding in the highs, a bit more forgiving in feel, and extremely clip-happy at just the right moments.

The new MARK FIVE: 25 combines the legendary tone of the preamp, the stylistic versatility, and the aggression of the MARK IIC+, MARK IV, and MARK V with the power of our most famous Mark Series preamps and our exclusive Dyna-Watt 2xEL84 power amp into a new Mark Series amplifier that boasts unprecedented portability, clipping capability, and fast, tactile expressiveness. The result is a new bench MARK that stands proudly alongside the legendary legacy of its predecessor.

Power Amp Details Class Wattage

Mesa’s patented Multi-Watt (Patent 7,602,927) power amp with Dyna-Watt technology offers two power levels with different circuit configurations (Pentode/Triode) via two 10/25 watt power switches: Choose between 2 power tubes in Class A/B Triode for rich overtones and a sweet, fluid playing feel at lower volumes producing 10 watts, or 2 tubes in Mesa’s proprietary Dyna-Watt Class A/B Pentode for maximum power, punch, and clarity producing 25 watts.

Channel Controls

Each channel features an independent 3-position style mode switch, a 10/25-watt Multi-Watt switch, Gain, Treble, Mid/Boost* (Channel 1), Mid (Channel 2), Bass, Presence, Reverb (rear panel), Master, and a Graphic EQ assignment switch (on/off/footswitchable).

The Mid/Boost control on Channel 1 acts as a standard mid control when set between 0 and 5 and becomes a variable gain boost when set between 5 and 10.
