Hiwatt DR103 Head Custom 100 - The Legend Lives!
The Hiwatt DR103-H Custom 100 head is a hand-wired guitar amplifier that has stood for decades as the reference for classic British tube tones. With 100 watts of output and the use of high-quality components, this head delivers an exceptionally clear, commanding sound that convinces both live and in the studio. The combination of a rugged chassis, faithful original circuitry and excellent tubes makes the DR103-H a long-lasting investment for demanding musicians who value authenticity and tonal quality.
Hand-Wired Quality
The DR103-H Custom 100 is hand-wired in England using traditional methods. This meticulous construction not only guarantees outstanding reliability but also optimal tonal performance. The use of EL34 power tubes and ECC83 preamp tubes yields a characteristic, brilliant clean tone and impressive dynamics.
Sound & Applications
With its typical British clean sound and massive power reserve, the head is suited to almost any style. From crystal-clear cleans to punchy crunch tones, the DR103-H stays defined and cuts through the mix. Studio and live players in particular benefit from the transparent signal transfer and generous headroom reserves.
