Fender Hot Rod Deville 212 IV - All Tube Guitar Combo!
We asked for feedback and listened closely to hundreds of guitarists. The result of your input is the Hot Rod DeVille 212 IV with thoughtful updates — for example, the modified preamp circuit, the incredibly smooth spring reverb and a few cosmetic refinements. With its Hot Rod power, this 60-watt combo is a good-natured yet seriously hot baseline amp with generous headroom for gigging musicians.
Modified Preamp Circuit
The new wiring gives you clear definition at any volume. Even when you push it into full overdrive, your tone stays cleanly articulated.
Modified Spring Reverb
It sounds as lush and sweet as a classic spring reverb, but overall smoother and softer — at any volume.
Celestion Speaker
Celestion speakers are prized worldwide for their classic rock'n'roll character. They're very versatile and deliver clear, modern sound just as convincingly as a juicy vintage growl when pushed hard.
Subtly Aged Grillecloth
Cooler than new: the classic silver Fender front grillecloth on the Blues Junior IV looks as if it's already aged gracefully for a few decades.
Lightweight Pine Cabinet
A transport-friendly lightweight yet very sturdy. Fender has used pine for amp cabinets since the '50s and '60s. It supports a pleasing resonance and helps the amp sound more "musical".
Improved Control Panel Graphics
A feature long requested by live players: improved graphics on the control panel. The new layout is easier to read, even under unfavorable stage lighting.
