Fender Hot Rod Deluxe IV - All Tube Guitar Combo!
The legendary Deluxe is the centerpiece in the rigs of many guitarists. As the Hot Rod Deluxe IV it offers even more than before: a modified preamp, a sweet, smooth spring reverb and visual refinements. A hot, punchy amp with 40 watts and new features tailored for guitarists who need plenty of power and sonic headroom.
Modified Preamp Circuit
The new wiring gives you clear definition at any volume. Even when you push the overdrive hard, your sound stays cleanly articulated.
Modified Spring Reverb
It sounds as lush and sweet as a classic spring reverb, but overall smoother and softer at any volume.
Celestion Speaker
Celestion speakers are prized worldwide for their classic rock'n'roll character. They're very versatile, delivering a clear, modern sound as convincingly as a juicy vintage growl when driven hard.
Subtly Antiqued Grillcloth
Cooler than new: the classic silver Fender front grill on the Hot Rod Deluxe IV looks like it's been aged gracefully for decades.
Lightweight Pine Cabinet
A transport-friendly lightweight that's still very sturdy. Fender has used pine for amp cabinets since the '50s and '60s. It supports a pleasant resonance and makes the amp sound "musical".
Ivory-Colored Knobs
Period-typical design: the control knobs are made of ivory-white plastic — a nod to the original era of these amps.
A modified preamp that gets guitarists' hearts racing!
