Killersounds and Innovative Features Make the HT-5R MK III the Ultimate Studio and Practice Tube Amp!
The HT-5R MK III takes the acclaimed design of the award-winning MkII series to a new level with incredible power, stunning looks, and groundbreaking new features—from enhanced tones to the addition of IR-based CabRig speaker simulator software.
Big Tube Tone, Small Amplifier
Tube amps sound best when cranked. The unique feel, dynamics, and natural compression of a hot-running tube power stage are widely regarded as the holy grail of guitar tone. The problem is, it’s not practical for you or your neighbors to crank your 100-watt tube amp at home. The HT-5R MK III, with its unique push-pull power stage, delivers that coveted tube power at volumes suitable for practicing and recording at home.
Tone Options
The HT-5R MK III features 2 channels, Clean and Overdrive, each with 2 voicing options. On the HT-5R MK III, each voice switch triggers comprehensive circuit changes in both the preamp and power amp to restore authentic reference tones without compromise. This includes EQ voicing, tone stack position in the circuit, gain, and power stage damping. Achieve diverse tonal options with just one button press!
Perfect for Playing and Recording
The HT-5R MK III not only delivers recording-ready tube tones at any volume but also features a direct USB-C output that can send 2 channels (left and right) to your DAW, offering the easiest way to record authentic tube tones without an interface.
The best part? These amps have built-in load protection, meaning you can use them without a connected speaker cabinet for silent practice and recording.
IR-Based CabRig Speaker Simulator
CabRig, Blackstar’s industry-leading IR-based speaker simulator, comes standard in the HT-5R MK III, offering hundreds of different cabinet, microphone, and room combinations. Save your favorites in three presets for direct access from the amp. Get premium tube tones into your headphones, monitors, and mixes.
