Dept. 10 AMPED 2 - The 100-Watt Amplifier Pedal with Multi-Effects!

AMPED 2 is a 100-watt pedal amplifier with a front-end drive pedal and an advanced effects processor that delivers the sound and feel of traditional tube amplifiers. You can use the AMPED 2 in the front-end of a conventional amp, power a 100-watt cabinet, or drive it directly, so you can take your sound anywhere. Thanks to power reduction down to 1 W and USB-C connectivity, it’s at home both in the studio and on stage.

Responses

The Response control offers three distinct and authentic tube responses - EL84, EL34, and 6L6. Each setting delivers the touch, dynamics, sag, and breakup characteristics of the selected power tube. Blackstar’s tube responses alter the tonal character from tight and dynamic to compressed and loose.

• EL84 - Bell-like, full-bodied Class-A sound with lots of compression and smooth breakup
• EL34 - Classic British Class A/B crunch with full body and focused mids
• 6L6 - Tight, dynamic Class A/B with extended highs and lows

Cab-Rig Simulator

Cab Rig is our next-generation DSP speaker simulator that reproduces the sound and feel of a miked guitar cabinet with incredible detail. With the included software, you can dive deep and capture amazing sounds via USB / XLR D.I. or TRS line out / headphones. Over 250 mic and cabinet combinations can be stored in one of the three onboard slots. For each cabinet, you can select the mic type and axis, as well as room mics and the master EQ.
