Since its introduction in 2001, VOX's Valvetronix series has continually evolved, culminating in the fusion of advanced modeling technology with the "Valve Reactor" circuit that replicates a tube amp's behavior with pinpoint accuracy.

The VT40X introduces a modeling engine that delivers cutting-edge sound. Thanks to VET technology (Virtual Element Technology), which analyzes components and amp circuits, the VTX amplifiers achieve an authenticity that is genuinely impressive. These amps also include, of course, the multi-stage Valvetronix tube preamp.

It relies in part on real analog circuitry, because analog captures a tube amp's tonal variations and nuances far better than any simulation. In addition to this refined circuitry, the VTX amps feature a sealed cabinet and a bass reflex system that lets natural resonance sing.

With VOX's "Tone Room" software you can tweak historical details on the virtual level until the amp and effects sound exactly the way you imagine.
