Mobile Stereo Modeling Amp With Battery!

The Hotone AP-20 Pulze Jr. combines a compact guitar amp, bass amp, practice amp and USB audio interface into a portable stereo system. Two specially tuned 3" custom full-range speakers deliver a combined 20 watts of power, while the digital signal processing at 24-bit/48 kHz and Hotone's CDCM HD & F.I.R.E. modeling technology provide a versatile foundation for electric guitar, bass and acoustic instruments. With an internal battery, extensive amp and cabinet models, effects, looper, drum machine, Bluetooth, MIDI and modern Hotone AI features, the Pulze Jr. is flexibly equipped for practice, jamming and recording.

Extensive Modeling for Versatile Sounds

With 52 amp models and 48 cabinet models, the Pulze Jr. offers a wide tonal palette for different instruments and musical styles. It features 191 effects including a global EQ across Drive, Dynamics, Filter, Modulation, Delay and Reverb categories. Up to seven effect modules can be used simultaneously, and the order of the effect chain can be edited. Up to 200 presets provide ample storage for custom sounds and different setups.

IRs, Sound Clone, NAM and Hotone AI

For detailed cabinet sounds the modeling amp supports up to 20 user IRs and includes five classic Celestion speaker IRs. In addition, up to ten Sound Clone/NAM files in A1 and A2 formats can be used. Hotone AI expands sound design with AI-generated presets. The AI Stem Splitter helps you create your own backing tracks, while Smart Backing Tracks make spontaneous jam sessions and daily practice more convenient.

Looper, Drum Machine and Practical Practice Tools

The built-in mono looper offers up to 240 s of recording time and is ideal for chord progressions, riffs and spontaneous song ideas. A drum machine with 100 rhythm patterns including a metronome provides solid timing, while the integrated tuner allows quick tuning checks. Acoustic simulations and other specially tailored sounds further expand the unit's versatility.

Portable Operation With Integrated Battery

The built-in lithium battery (14.8 V, 3000 mAh) delivers about eight hours of runtime at moderate volume. That makes the Pulze Jr. usable away from a power outlet. Alternatively it can be powered by 18 V DC. The battery can be charged via USB-PD with a compatible USB-PD charger. The compact enclosure and integrated ambient lighting emphasize its modern desktop-amp character.

USB Audio, Bluetooth and Flexible Connections

Via USB 2.0 Type-C the Pulze Jr. functions as a 2-in/2-out USB audio interface and supports both loopback and reamp. That makes it suitable not only for practice but also for recording and streaming setups. Bluetooth audio enables wireless playback of songs and backing tracks, while MIDI and the Pulze Editor app provide additional control options. An instrument input, a controller/MIDI input, a record-capable Aux In and a stereo headphone output round out the connections for flexible desktop, home-studio and practice applications.
