Precise Analog Volume Pedal for Maximum Control!
The Walrus Audio Canvas Volume is a premium analog stereo volume pedal that delivers exceptional precision and reliability. Its contactless position sensor and high-quality VCA circuitry provide smooth, linear volume control with no wear parts—ideal for studio, stage, or pedalboard. With flexible routing options and extensive adjustment features, the Canvas Volume adapts perfectly to any setup.
Contactless Design for Consistent Performance
Unlike conventional volume pedals, the Canvas Volume operates entirely contact-free. It forgoes pots and gears, so there's no mechanical wear. The precise position sensor drives the analog signal path through high-quality VCAs, ensuring consistent tone for years to come. That means your sound stays stable no matter how heavily you use it.
Versatile Adjustment Options
The pedal offers four adjustable main parameters: Taper, Minimum On Volume, Maximum Gain and Lag. Over eight different taper curves—based on familiar models such as Lehle, Boss, Dunlop, Ernie Ball and Goodrich—you can precisely tailor the response. The gain control can also activate a boost of up to +9 dB, while "Lag" enables smooth volume swells and gentle transitions.
Flexible Connection Options
Thanks to flexible routing options, the Canvas Volume supports Mono In/Mono Out with tuner out, Mono In/Dual Mono Out, or true stereo operation. The tuner out is independent of the pedal path and lets you tune with the signal muted. That makes it easy to integrate the pedal into any setup—from a compact solo rig to a complex stereo chain.
Professional Features and Rugged Construction
A robust steel-aluminum enclosure combines stability with pedalboard-friendly weight. The hidden control surface under the heel provides two function buttons and LEDs for discreet operation during gigs. The integrated utility menu offers deeper system functions like calibration, factory reset, or firmware updates via USB-C. The analog signal path remains uncompromised.
