The Hiwatt T40/20 MkIII head offers you, as an experienced musician, uncompromising sound quality and maximum flexibility. With its switchable power range from 40 watts to 20 watts, the amp effortlessly adapts to any stage situation or recording requirement. The combination of two independent channels and a premium tube complement delivers a dynamic, powerful sound that convinces both in clean operation and overdrive. Thanks to thoughtful features like true spring reverb, effects loop, and 3-band EQ with tone-shift, nothing stands in the way of your individual sound design.

Power & Circuit

With the Hiwatt T40/20 head, you decide whether you want maximum headroom and clarity at 40 watts or more saturation and compression at 20 watts. The power amp runs on four EL84 tubes, providing a warm, musical fundamental character. The Class-A bias circuit guarantees an extremely direct, dynamic response.

Channel Variety & Tone Control

Two channels (Normal and Overdrive) allow you to quickly switch between transparent cleans and powerful overdrive. Tone shaping is done via a precise 3-band equalizer section, with the mid control featuring a pull function for additional flexibility. The operation is intuitive and enables quick adjustment to your setup.

Effects & Connectivity

A real highlight is the high-quality spring reverb, which adds depth and character to your sound. The integrated FX loop allows lossless integration of external effects. Via the footswitch (sold separately), you can comfortably switch both the channel and the reverb. Extensive inputs and outputs provide maximum connectivity—whether on stage or in the studio.

2x 12 Cabinet

The Hiwatt HG212 impresses with solid construction and a clear, assertive tonal character. Thanks to the two specially tuned 12" Hiwatt Octapulse speakers, this cabinet delivers a balanced frequency spectrum with distinct punch and harmonious overtone behavior—ideal for classic rock and blues sounds, but also for modern high-gain applications. The robust cabinet design in traditional Hiwatt style ensures durability and maximum load capacity, whether in the studio, on stage, or during regular transport.

Speaker Cable

The Pronomic speaker cables are perfect for use on stage or in the rehearsal room. The 2-conductor cables with 2x 1.5 mm² cross-section are equipped with robust 6.3mm jack plugs.
