The XDrum jingle ring consists of 16 pairs of steel jingles arranged in an energy-saving crescent shape. They produce a bright, cutting sound and are perfect for pop/rock, acoustic combos, as well as Orff groups and early music education.
The frame and handle are made of plastic, with the ergonomic handle providing a secure and comfortable grip. Thanks to the double-row arrangement, this tambourine achieves higher volume than single-row models.

I had currently a kick drum - foot machine equipped with a holder to attach a tambourine in it and to use this in some songs in the acoustic - guitar duo. Admittedly, it was currently a good tambourine from Meinl and this brought in the holder, as well as times in the hand a good, also right fat sound.
The duo separated, unfortunately also together with the tambourine. So after new formation quickly a new tambourine here, and the XDrum looked on the offer - picture similar to the other. Well, but after the reception already once in the hand something disillusionment as follows :
Plastic frame = right
Handle made of soft plastic = not true, is hard plastic and not very ergonomically designed
Half-moon design, double row / double row = correct, nevertheless the tambourine is a bit unbalanced in the hand, the mass distribution is not so optimal.
16 pairs of chromed jingles = true ... not described is that the clamps are made of sheet steel. So that they do not lie flat on each other, one has simply made 3 point-shaped impressions at the contact beads. It sounds like a tambourine, but it is a little rattling.
Color: Black = right, but only frame and handle.
The geometry is fortunately close to the Meinl, so the tambourine also fits in the holder, not quite symmetrical anymore, since it is a bit smaller, but it holds.
You can use the tambourine with not too great sound expectation, otherwise you should then better enter the slightly higher classes, but also corresponding price.
