The thin-line body sits comfortably against the player and offers the characteristic mix of airiness, definition and powerful projection that the ES-335 has been prized for for decades.

Rounded Neck With Authentic Playability

The glued set mahogany neck sports a robust Rounded C profile that feels full and comfortable. The bound rosewood fretboard with a 12" radius, 22 medium-jumbo frets and classic dot inlays supports precise fretting, clean bends and a familiar vintage feel. The 24.75" scale delivers smooth string tension and makes chords, leads and expressive vibratos equally comfortable to play.

Custombucker Alnico 3 Humbuckers

Two Gibson Custombucker pickups with Alnico 3 magnets provide the open, dynamic humbucker voice reminiscent of early PAF tones. The neck pickup yields warm, detailed cleans and singing leads, while the bridge pickup convinces with clear articulation, bite and sustain. The 3-way switch lets you use each pickup individually or together, creating a wide tonal palette from smooth and transparent to powerful and cutting.

Hand-Wired Electronics and Classic Hardware

The electronics are hand-wired with two volume and two tone controls, 500k potentiometers and Orange Drop capacitors. That wiring makes the guitar highly responsive to your playing dynamics, attack and control settings. An ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stop-Bar tailpiece support precise intonation, stable string anchoring and long sustain. Vintage Deluxe tuners with keystone buttons and a Graph Tech nut further enhance tuning stability.
