Any common steel dartboard, whether made of sisal, cork, or wood, can be mounted on the holder and secured against twisting and wobbling with two additional screws. The Pronomic dartboard stand has a tube diameter of 35 mm and weighs just 3.3 kg. Thanks to its tripod design, it stands stable even on uneven floors at all times. The stand is continuously height adjustable to compensate for uneven ground outdoors or to set the board at a height suitable for children.

Das einzige Manko, den der Dartständer besitzt, ist das Prinzip, wie die Rotation der Dartscheibe verhindert werden soll. Neben dem Loch zum Aufhängen der Scheibe, besitzt die Halterung zwei zusätzliche Löcher, in die man zwei Schrauben in die Dartscheibe bohren soll. Das mag zwar stabil sein, macht aber nur bedingt Sinn, weil das das Drehen der Scheibe komplett verhindert. Das ist aber durchaus notwendig, um nicht nur ein Feld abzuspielen. Man will ja die Dartscheibe gleichmäßig abspielen. Man muss also theoretisch jedes Mal wieder neue Löcher in die Scheibe bohren, will man den Ständer durchgehend benutzen.
Ich habe mich damit beholfen, dass ich 2mm dickes selbstklebendes EPDM Dichtband auf die Auflage geklebt habe. So kann die Scheibe sich nicht mehr drehen und hält auch ohne Schrauben und man zerstört seine schöne Winmauscheibe nicht.
