Fluorescent tubes, commonly known as neon tubes, are found almost everywhere today in our daily environment—offices, warehouses, workshops, etc. A neon tube consumes a lot of power when switched on and it also takes a long time to reach full light output, making them unsuitable for short-term use. On top of that, the filling with environmentally harmful gases and mercury makes disposal cumbersome. Regular replacement intervals also incur additional maintenance costs.
Why Showlite LED Fluorescent Tubes Are the Better Choice!
Showlite LEDs switch on instantly and are insensitive to frequent on/off cycles. They eliminate the flicker and slow warm-up typical of conventional neon tubes.
With an extremely long lifespan of over 50,000 hours, replacement intervals—and therefore maintenance costs—are reduced significantly. This also benefits the environment, since the lifetime far exceeds that of conventional neon tubes. The evenly bright, flicker- and glare-free light prevents eye fatigue even after long periods of use.
New Energy Label 2021
Since September 2021 the new energy label also applies to lamps, which no longer uses classes like "A+++" but ranges from "A" to "G". It should be noted that no current device reaches the "A" or "B" classes. These new classifications were deliberately set up with a view to the future so they should still be practical in ten years' time.
This means that devices with an energy efficiency class of "F" are comparable to the old "A+" class. Of course, the devices' power consumption has not increased as a result.
Easily Replace Existing Fluorescent Tubes!
Each tube is supplied with an LED starter, so installation in standard fittings is straightforward. During installation, simply replace the existing starter with the supplied one. An installation guide is included.

The daylight white tone is particularly suitable for providing excellent lighting conditions in workspaces, offices, basements, garages and storage areas.
With the Showlite LED fluorescent tube the following energy savings compared to standard fluorescent tubes can be achieved; the exact value depends on the ballast used:
