What's So Bad About Neon Tubes?
Fluorescent tubes, commonly known as neon tubes, are found almost everywhere in our daily environments today — in offices, warehouses, workshops, etc. They do offer advantages over conventional incandescent bulbs. However, there are downsides, such as high energy costs and long warm-up times before the required light output is reached.
On top of that, they are filled with environmentally harmful gases and mercury, which makes disposal complicated. Regular replacement intervals also incur additional maintenance costs.
Why Showlite LED Fluorescent Tubes Are the Better Choice!
Showlite LEDs light up instantly with no startup delay. They are resistant to frequent switching on and off. Flicker and the slow ramp-up typical of conventional neon tubes are eliminated with Showlite LED tubes.
Thanks to the extremely long lifetime of more than 50,000 hours, replacement intervals—and therefore maintenance costs—are significantly reduced. That also benefits the environment, since the lifespan far exceeds that of conventional neon tubes. The uniformly bright, flicker- and glare-free light won’t cause fatigue even after prolonged use.
New Energy Label 2021
Since September 2021, lamps have also been covered by the new energy label, which no longer uses classes like "A+++" but ranges from "A" to "G". It should be noted that no current device achieves the "A" or "B" classes. The new classifications were introduced deliberately with a view to the future so they remain practical even in 10 years' time.
This means that devices with an energy efficiency class of "F" are comparable to the old "A+" class. Of course, the devices' energy consumption has not actually increased.
Simply Replace Existing Neon Tubes!
Each tube is supplied with an LED starter, so installation into standard sockets is straightforward. During installation you only need to replace the existing starter with the supplied starter. Installation instructions are included.

The Daylight White tone is especially suitable for providing excellent lighting conditions in work areas, offices, basements, garages and storage rooms.
With the Showlite LED fluorescent tube, the following energy savings can be achieved compared to standard fluorescent tubes; the exact value depends on the ballast used:
