Neck-Through Construction for Sustain and Stability

Neck-through construction is a defining Firebird feature. The 9-piece mahogany and walnut neck runs through the body and is complemented by solid mahogany wings. Compared with many traditional humbuckers the tone is leaner and more focused, yet powerful enough for crunchy rhythm parts and singing leads. The pared-back electronics—one volume and one tone control—keep operation intentionally simple. CTS pots, a Black-Beauty paper-in-oil capacitor and a Switchcraft output jack ensure high-quality signal flow and reliable performance in the studio, the rehearsal room and on stage.

The wraparound lightning bridge combines string stop and bridge in a compact unit.
