The Fender Limited Edition '50s "Cocked Wah" Pine Esquire Super Heavy Relic Aged combines classic Esquire construction with modern features and an authentic aging process.

Body and Construction

The 2-piece body made from Eastern White Pine is lightweight (3.055 kg) and delivers a direct response. The Heavy Relic finish provides a visually and tactilely aged style reminiscent of instruments from the 1950s.

Neck and Playability

The one-piece, rift-sawn maple neck with a 1950 Esquire "U" profile offers a stable, comfortable feel. The fretboard with a compound radius (7.25"-9.5") and 21 Jescar Medium Vintage frets is set up for precise fingering. Black Micarta dot inlays are discreet and functional.

Electronics & "Cocked Wah" Circuit

The 3-way switch delivers classic Esquire tones as well as a "Cocked Wah" mode. In the "Cocked Wah" mode the sound is frequency-emphasized and mid-forward, producing a distinctive, present tone that cuts through in a band context.

Hardware and Included Items

The guitar features a classic 3-saddle bridge with original-style steel saddles, vintage-style tuners and a 1-ply parchment pickguard. The package includes a deluxe hardshell case and a strap.
