The new LP-models from Rocktile are just right for all guitarists who like really fat sounds. Since almost all entry-level guitars tend to go towards Stratocaster and usually with single coil pickups, the LP-100, with two humbuckers, comes as a good alternative.
Thanks to theyr flat structure - LP's are usually curved - and the slender neck, the LP-100 is suitable for absolute beginners and with 3.5 kg weight it's relatively light. The processing is fully in the green area and also in terms of sound, the LP 100 is unmatched.
If you want a really low priced electric guitar with awesome sound and a great look but do not feel like looking at food discounter quality, then the Rocktile LP-100 is just the thing for you!

Strings need to be replaced as we do with all lower priced instruments.
The fingerboard has a few tiny cracks, but they don't bother. Should be oiled.
Great sound without amplifier.
Pickups are ok, but pinch harmonics are not possible with them (replaced them with Wilkinson pickups).
The neck is not, as mentioned in the description, slim, but rather corresponds to the model "half baseball bat" of an original Les Paul Standard. I don't mind it. It is not lacquered and feels very comfortable.
The guitar is very top heavy, so you should use a good leather strap to get that under control. But that is often the case even with very expensive instruments.
The tuners run cleanly, are tuning stable, pots and switches are impeccable (I have experienced worse in much higher price ranges), varnish impeccable. Meanwhile, I play the guitar much more often than on trips.
Conclusion: With little rework you get an instrument with unbeatable price-performance ratio and high fun factor. If you invest another 40 € for a few mid-range pickups, the guitar also sounds great on the amp. Due to the thick neck, the guitar is in my opinion only conditionally suitable for people with short fingers or small hands.

In a review from 2014, it was mentioned that the neck shape 'is more like the model" half baseball bat" of an original Les Paul Standard'.
Since I am looking for a guitar with a strong neck profile, I would like to know what the current neck shape is for this model.

A silly question: Is there any kind of instruction manual from which the assignment of the knobs and the toggle switch can be seen? I am unfortunately the absolute beginner with electric guitars.

The toggle switch is used to switch the pickups. When the switch is set to the upper position, only the neck pickup (Neck PU) is active. In the middle position both pickups are active and in the lower position only the bridge pickup (Bridge PU). The two pots (potentiometers) are used for tone control. The pot to the left of the switch controls the volume of the guitar (volume pot), the one to the right controls the treble part of the guitar signal (tone pot). The position of the switches and knobs is a matter of individual taste.
