Gretsch Limited Edition Electromatic Collection Black Limba Jet Sunburst

Gretsch Limited Edition Electromatic Black Limba Jet - Standalone Jet With Versatile Electronics!

The Gretsch Limited Edition Electromatic Black Limba Jet combines the distinctive Jet concept with a full Black Limba wood build and unusually flexible electronics. The chambered solidbody, arched Black Limba top and set-in Black Limba neck form the constructional base, while two PureVolt Twin Six humbuckers with coil-split capability deliver a wide electric tonal palette.

Black Limba From Body to Neck

Black Limba takes center stage in this Limited Edition. The chambered body, arched top and neck are all crafted from this wood. Gretsch pairs this construction with a bound ebony fretboard, creating a distinctive model within the Electromatic Collection. The body chambering is part of the concept, as are the sculpted forearm and belly contours. A rounded neck heel complements the design and supports a smooth transition between neck and body.

Performance C Neck and Compact Jet Scale

The set-in neck features the Gretsch Performance C profile and a 24.88" scale. The bound ebony fretboard is fitted with a 12" radius, 22 medium-jumbo frets and Pearloid Neo-Classic Thumbnail inlays. The Graph Tech NuBone nut measures 42.86 mm wide. This construction combines the compact Jet scale with a relatively flat fretboard radius and a neck profile optimized for modern playability.

PureVolt Twin Six Humbuckers With Coil Split

Two PureVolt Twin Six humbuckers handle the electrical conversion. Besides the classic bridge/both/neck choices via the 3-way switch, the circuit offers extra options: the two tone pots are push/pull and enable coil splits. That lets you vary the HH pickup set beyond its regular humbucker voices. The master volume control also features a treble-bleed circuit to preserve highs when lowering the volume. Two separate tone controls are assigned to the neck and bridge pickups respectively.

Fixed LockDown Bridge and Functional Hardware

The LockDown Locking Adjustable Wraparound Bridge is a fixed unit anchored directly to the body and requires no separate tailpiece. Closed die-cast tuners complete the hardware, while vintage-style strap buttons and knurled metal control knobs round out the functional concept. The Split-V headstock adds an additional Gretsch accent. Together with the high-gloss finish, this Limited Edition blends classic Jet DNA with a distinctive wood choice, modern playability and expanded humbucker circuitry.
