Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble - Vintage Edition With Distinct Character!
The Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble delivers all the features and performance of our regular Les Paul Standard 60s models—only with even more vintage charm. These limited Les Paul models differ from the regular Les Paul Standard 60s in two ways:
First, the Burstbucker 61R and Burstbucker 61T humbucker pickups are installed without covers. Both use double classic white bobbins and are equipped with the classic Alnico-5 magnets.
Second, the finishes differ. The color variants are "vintage" versions of our regular nitrocellulose finishes. While the high-gloss nitrocellulose finishes of the standard models represent the look of brand-new 1950s guitars, the high-gloss "vintage" finishes on the Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble models appear slightly aged. They are subtly faded compared to the standard versions—similar to a gentle, natural aging over several years.
Because each guitar is hand-painted, the burst pattern also varies from instrument to instrument.
