Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble Electric Guitar in Vintage Tobacco Burst with Case!

The Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble offers all the features and performance of the regular Les Paul Standard 50s models, but with even more vintage appeal. These limited Les Paul models differ from the regular Les Paul Standard 50s models in two ways.

First, the Burstbucker 1 and Burstbucker 2 pickups are uncovered and each feature Double Classic White bobbins and are equipped with standard Alnico2 magnets. The second difference lies in the finish. The finishes are "Vintage" variations of the standard nitrocellulose lacquers. The standard high-gloss nitrocellulose finishes represent the finishes on brand-new models from the 1950s, while the vintage high-gloss nitrocellulose finishes on the Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble models are slightly faded compared to the standard versions, like the subtly faded light vintage aging that occurs over several years.

The burst patterns vary from guitar to guitar, as each is hand-painted individually. Naturally, all the standard features that make the Les Paul Standard 50s models so popular are still present, including a solid mahogany body with an AA maple top and a rounded 50s vintage mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard, 22 medium-jumbo frets, and trapezoid inlays. The Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble is equipped with an ABR-1, the classic Tune-O-Matic bridge, an aluminum stopbar tailpiece, vintage deluxe tuners with keystone buttons, and aged gold top-hat knobs with pointer indicators.

The uncovered, calibrated Burstbucker 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) pickups are internally identical to their standard Burstbucker counterparts, except for the Double Classic White bobbins. They are hand-built in the Gibson Pickup Shop, fitted with Alnico2 magnets, and hand-wired with audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop capacitors. The Double Classic White pickup coils and vintage surfaces give the Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble an elegant vintage vibe.

Although they have a vintage finish and are available at an affordable price, production is limited to only 500 guitars in each color, meaning they are only available in limited quantities. So act fast and secure your favorite while supplies last!
