The 1960 Les Paul Standard Reissue, Iced Tea Burst from Gibson Custom Shop is the peak of craftsmanship, quality, and superb sound. Every instrument honors Gibson’s heritage with accuracy, authenticity, and meticulous care. 1960 was the final year for the original Les Paul Standard, which is nearly identical to the 1959 model except for a few features.
Most notably, it features a fast-playing, slim neck profile loved by many famous musicians who played 60s bursts, such as Eric Clapton, Joe Walsh, and Paul McCartney. It also sports "Reflector" control knobs and wider "Double Ring" tuners. The Custom Shop 1960 Les Paul Standard Reissue is a clone of the original, from the glued construction to the chemically refined plastic parts. Each example is built with utmost care, reverence, and love for detail by experienced Custom Shop craftsmen committed to delivering an authentic vintage experience.
