It defines cool - and is probably the best reproduction of the 1959 Les Paul Standard since the Gibson Custom Shop began producing the Historic Reissue models over 25 years ago. The instrument was treated by the experienced craftsmen at Murphy Labs with Ultra Heavy Aged finish. The Murphy Lab Ultra Heavy Aged finish, combined with heavily aged hardware, simulates decades of heavy playing wear and gives the guitar the unique character, vibe, and feel of an original from Gibson’s Golden Era.
