Gibson Custom Shop Murphy Lab Collection 1955 NAMM Show Commemorative Edition Les Paul Electric Guitar in Samoa Beige Including Case!

The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) is a global non-profit trade association for the music industry and has staged major trade shows since 1902. Companies like Gibson regularly present new and sometimes exclusive models there. In 1955 Gibson showcased five special Les Paul models at the NAMM Show in Chicago with unique metallic finishes (Samoa Beige, Copper Iridescent, Nugget Gold, Platinum, Viceroy Brown) and introduced ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridges on standard models for the first time. These guitars were produced in very limited numbers.

To mark the 70th anniversary, Gibson Custom now releases the 1955 NAMM Show Commemorative Edition Les Paul. It is limited to 70 pieces per color (350 guitars in total) and offers authentic 1955 specs, including a one-piece mahogany body, two-piece maple top, 1950s Chunky D neck profile, Indian rosewood fingerboard and period-correct hardware. Custom Shop P-90 Soapbars, a Murphy Lab Light Aged finish and an authentic Lifton case complete the special edition.
