Epiphone Kirk Hammett "Greeny" 1959 Les Paul Standard Including Hard Case!

The story of "Greeny" is shrouded in mystery, but few guitars are as legendary. Greeny is one of the most iconic original Les Paul Standards ever made, with a unique tone as recognizable as the guitar itself. It once belonged to Peter Green, who used it during his time with Fleetwood Mac and later sold it to Gary Moore, who played it for three decades with Thin Lizzy and as a solo artist. Now owned by Kirk Hammett, Greeny has accompanied three legendary guitarists.

Its distinctive sound partly comes from the phase-shifted middle switch position caused by the reversed magnetic polarity of the neck pickup. The Epiphone Kirk Hammett 'Greeny' Les Paul Standard is a collaboration between Epiphone and the Gibson Custom Shop. This extraordinary guitar is inspired by Kirk's legendary original and gives players worldwide the chance to experience some of the "Greeny" magic themselves.

It features premium components, including Gibson USA Greenybucker pickups, with the neck pickup mounted reversed and equipped with a magnet of reversed polarity, a Switchcraft pickup selector switch, and a 1/4" output jack, CTS potentiometers, Mallory capacitors, and Grover Rotomatic tuners with paddle buttons on a Gibson "Open Book" style headstock. A brown and pink vintage-style hard case is also included.
