George Benson and Ibanez

George Benson was born on March 22, 1943, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and was considered a musical prodigy from a young age, impressing with his virtuosic guitar playing. In the 1960s, Benson gained initial prominence after working with Jack McDuff and others, including Miles Davis, on their studio sessions and performances. In the 1970s, George Benson launched his highly successful solo career. Influenced by elements of jazz, pop, and R'n'B, his albums sold millions and earned him ten Grammy Awards and several gold and platinum certifications. Since 1977, Benson has also sworn by Ibanez jazz guitars, which support his music with excellent sound and perfect playability.
