Special features of this exquisite signature Strat include three Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups and the effective active mid-boost with TBX circuit, making this guitar one of our most versatile instruments. Other highlights are the soft V-profile neck and the rear-mounted synchronized authentic vintage tremolo.

Soft V Profile
The soft V profile (referring to the neck cross-section shape) of the Eric Clapton Stratocaster feels especially comfortable for the fretting hand. It’s a rounded version of the sharper V profile from the 1950s. Ideal for guitarists with large hands who can wrap their thumb over the edge of the fretboard.
TBX Tone Control
The first tone control accesses the TBX circuit (TBX = Treble Bass Expander). The control has a noticeable detent at the center position (position 5) and works like a normal tone control. Turning clockwise increases presence and brightness, while turning counterclockwise cuts the high frequencies.
Active Mid Boost
The second control lets you boost or cut the mids. Turning it clockwise adds more bass and mids. Turning it the other way reduces the highs.
Blocked Tremolo
A unique detail Eric Clapton came up with: his Stratocaster includes a small wooden block placed between the tremolo block and the cavity behind it. This lets you lock the tremolo in place when needed, preventing it from moving.
Urethane Finish
Our urethane finish protects the underlying colors from fading and preserves their vibrancy for many, many years.
9.5" Fretboard Radius
The fretboard radius describes the curvature width of the fretboard. This instrument features a modern 9.5" fretboard radius. It’s a bit flatter than a vintage-style 7.25" radius but still offers enough curve for comfortable fretting and clean bending.
