Epiphone ist stolz darauf, die Matt Heafy Les Paul Custom Origins 7-String vorzustellen, das neueste Signature-Modell, das in Zusammenarbeit mit dem außerordentlich talentierten Matt Heafy von Trivium entwickelt wurde.
Sie ist mit einem Paar speziell abgestimmter Fishman Fluence-Tonabnehmer ausgestattet. Jeder liefert drei verschiedene Töne. Der Alnico-Halstonabnehmer bietet einen modernen, aktiven Alnico-Humbucker-Sound mit hoher Ausgangsleistung, einen knackigen, sauberen und fließenden Hals-Humbucker-Sound und einen glasigen, gescoopten Hi-Fi-Single-Coil-Sound. Der Keramik-Steg-Tonabnehmer bietet die Wahl zwischen einem modernen, aktiven Keramik-Humbucker-Ton mit hoher Ausgangsleistung, einem passiven Keramik-Humbucker-Ton mit hoher Ausgangsleistung und einem schneidenden, überdrehten Single-Coil-Ton. Diese Tonoptionen werden mit Push/Pull-Potis für Lautstärke und Ton ausgewählt.
Der Mahagoni-Korpus mit Ahorndecke hat eine moderne Gewichtsentlastung für stundenlanges komfortables Spielen, und der Mahagoni-Hals hat ein schnell spielbares SpeedTaper D-Profil und einen konturierten Halsfuß für außergewöhnlichen Zugang zu den oberen Bünden.
Goldfarbene Hardware, einschließlich arretierbarer Grover Rotomatic Mechaniken mit "Tulip"-Knöpfen, und klassische Les Paul Custom-Kosmetik machen diese Gitarre zu einem echten Hingucker auf der Bühne. Erhältlich in den Oberflächen Ebony und Bone White.

Quite nasty QC issues though, frets were completely unpolished and the fretboard has nasty glue stains on it. Nothing that a luthier can't fix but very annoying for an instrument in this price point..
