The Gibson ES-339 is a modern classic designed for those who want the sound and look of an ES-335 but prefer a slightly smaller and lighter instrument.
The rosewood fretboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays and the mahogany neck with a rounded "C" profile harken back to Gibson's beginnings, while the 57 Classic and 57 Classic + humbuckers combined with the hand-wired circuitry deliver the familiar and celebrated ES tone that has been revered for 60 years. The installed Grover Rotomatic tuners and ABR-1 bridge with stopbar provide tuning stability and precise intonation.
