Alnico V-Pickups

Alnico V magnets are used in both single-coil and humbucker pickups and provide a clear electric-guitar tone with good articulation as well as a tight sound that cuts through in an ensemble.

Coil-Tap Function

A coil-tap function on the rear humbucker expands the tonal options from heavy distortion to a snappier single-coil voice. A switching function on the tone control allows fast switching between humbucker and single-coil sound. Setting the pickup selector to the fourth position automatically engages the coil-tap, producing a clear blended tone from the single-coil pair.

Vintage Tremolo with Block Saddle

The vintage tremolo with block saddle offers excellent operability. The heavy block saddle provides full sustain and a rich, powerful tone.

Ring-Mounted Bridge Pickup

As with the best Pacifica models, the rear pickup is mounted directly to the body. This configuration captures body resonance and delivers a tone with greater dynamics than a pickguard-mounted installation.
