The Jackson JS Series Dinky Minion JS1X is a tiny axe with a monstrous bite — ideal for aspiring little shredders or grown-up road dogs who need an easy-to-transport instrument packed with the features they love.
With a 22.5" scale length, the Dinky Minion JS1X pairs a poplar body with a fast amaranth neck fitted with graphite-reinforcement rods and an amaranth fingerboard with a 12" radius, 24 jumbo frets and sharkfin inlays. A rear-angled 6-in-line Jackson headstock provides evenly distributed tension, while the neck heel is sculpted for effortless access to the upper frets.
A pair of Jackson high-output humbuckers with ceramic magnets delivers a clear, full-bodied tone. The neck position yields bright highs while the bridge position provides plenty of snappy distortion. You can shape the versatile voice with a three-way switch and a single volume and tone control, while a string-through-body hardtail bridge with block saddles enhances intonation and sustain.
The Dinky Minion JS1X makes a statement sonically and stylistically and is also available in Gloss Black with black hardware.
