Iconic RG Performance For Your First Steps!
The Ibanez GRG from the GIO series blends the legendary RG design with gear focused on speed, precision and powerful tone. Built for players who want a reliable high-performance instrument, this model offers a balanced mix of direct sound, comfortable playability and modern looks. The maple neck provides stability and a clear response, while the Purpleheart fretboard not only looks premium but also adds tonal depth.
Body And Tone Character
The poplar body delivers a balanced, punchy foundation with clear definition across the frequency range. The basswood top with a quilted maple look gives the guitar a high-end appearance and adds a bright note to the tone. This combination is ideal for modern rock and metal styles, while staying versatile enough for many genres.
Neck And Playability
The bolt-on maple neck with a GRG profile is built for fast techniques and offers a direct, controlled feel. The bound Purpleheart fretboard with 24 medium frets enables precise fingering across the scale. The generous fretboard radius supports clean bends and fluid runs, even at high speeds.
Electronics And Hardware
Equipped with Infinity R humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions, the guitar delivers a cutting, well-defined sound that stays articulate even at high gain. The T102 tremolo with comfortable string spacing enables expressive vibrato effects while maintaining stable tuning. The black hardware completes the modern appearance.
