The Player II Modified Stratocaster is a classic guitar designed for the modern player. Everything about the neck is crafted for fast, fluid playability, from the neck with Modern "C" profile and silky satin urethane finish on the back to the comfortable 9.5" rosewood or maple fretboard with rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets. The alder body delivers the classic Fender tone and is available in a range of exciting new finishes.

The Noiseless Player II pickups deliver the classic Strat sound while eliminating unwanted noise. The push/pull switch on the second tone control adds even more tonal flexibility by engaging the neck pickup in switch positions 1 and 2. The 2-point tremolo, short-post locking tuners, TUSQ nut, and modern string retainer combine to provide incredibly stable tuning, while the increased travel of the beveled tremolo block lets players coax an even more expressive, musical vibrato from their instrument.
