The Fender Made in Japan Hybrid II 2026 Collection Stratocaster HSS blends classic Stratocaster construction with a flexible HSS pickup layout and modern, precisely tuned hardware. Its alder body, bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fingerboard provide a proven foundation for a direct playing feel, clear response and balanced tonal character.

Flexible HSS Pickup Configuration

At the bridge you'll find a Hybrid II Custom Voiced humbucker that delivers punchy rhythm tones, defined riffs and sustaining leads. In the middle and neck positions are two Hybrid II Custom Voiced single-coil Stratocaster pickups that offer the characteristic clarity, dynamics and transparency of a Strat. The 5-way switch provides five practical pickup combinations, covering a wide spectrum from open clean tones and chiming in-between positions to powerful overdrive and distortion sounds.

Comfortable Modern C Neck

The maple neck features a Modern C profile, offering a balanced platform for chord work, fast runs and expressive bends. The rosewood fingerboard has a 9.5" radius and is fitted with 22 narrow-tall frets. This combination supports comfortable action and controlled playability. The 25.5" scale length delivers the typical string tension and precise response of a Stratocaster. A bone nut with a 42 mm width completes the solid construction.

Reliable Tremolo and Locking Tuners

The 2-point synchronized tremolo with stamped steel saddles in vintage style allows controlled pitch modulation and combines classic looks with modern functionality. Vintage-style locking tuners ease string changes and help maintain reliable tuning. The nickel and chrome hardware adds a classic accent, while the three-ply red tortoiseshell pickguard underlines the traditional Stratocaster design language.

A master volume and two tone controls allow quick and precise shaping of your sound.
