Fender American Professional Stratocaster Black

Fender American Professional Stratocaster - The Strat Sound on a New Level!

The Fender American Professional Stratocaster blends more than seven decades of Stratocaster tradition with targeted refinements for professional use. It preserves the unmistakable character of a classic Strat and adds modern details you'll notice the moment you play. Three V-Mod III single-coil pickups, the comfortable Deep C neck profile and a revised 2-point tremolo form the foundation for a versatile electric guitar that combines familiar Stratocaster feel with contemporary precision. Designed for guitarists who demand high standards of tone, dynamics and playability on stage, in the studio and in everyday playing.

V-Mod III Single-Coil Pickups - The Classic Stratocaster Tone With New Precision

At the heart of the American Professional Stratocaster are three Fender V-Mod III single-coil pickups. They retain the characteristic bell-like clarity, warmth and transparency the Stratocaster is known for, while delivering an especially articulate response. From open, bell-like cleans through dynamic crunch tones to expressive lead passages, the individual character of your playing remains clearly audible. The alder body supports the balanced tonal picture and, together with the pickups, provides a versatile foundation for a wide range of musical styles.

Particularly interesting is the extended pickup wiring. In addition to the classic 5-way switch, the guitar features a push-push function on the tone control that additionally activates the neck pickup. That gives you additional pickup combinations beyond the five traditional Stratocaster switch positions. Fender ClassicGear Precision potentiometers ensure smooth, finely tuned control of volume and tone.

Deep C Neck Profile - Comfort Up to the Highest Frets

The maple neck with Deep C profile combines a pleasantly substantial feel with a modern playing experience. Carefully rounded fretboard edges and the particularly smooth Super-Natural satin finish on the back of the neck let your fretting hand glide effortlessly. The maple fingerboard harmonizes with the direct playing feel, while the narrow-tall frets support controlled string bending and precise articulation.

Another thoughtful detail is the newly contoured neck-body transition. Together with the asymmetrical four-bolt neck plate it eases access to the upper frets. This keeps the Stratocaster true to its classic construction while offering extra comfort where demanding solo passages require as free a hand movement as possible.

Revised 2-Point Tremolo for Sustain and Precise Adjustment

Fender also applies targeted improvements to the hardware. The synchronized 2-point tremolo features a cold-rolled steel block that enhances sustain, clarity and bright overtones. The new ClassicGear radial bent-steel saddles combine traditional construction with a practical design. Their recessed adjustment screws reduce interfering contact points for the picking hand while allowing straightforward adjustment of action and intonation. The removable tremolo arm completes the comfortable operation.

American Professional - A Stratocaster for Your Musical Everyday Life

Made in the USA, the American Professional Stratocaster demonstrates how a legendary guitar concept can be consistently evolved without losing its identity. The classic solidbody construction, familiar Stratocaster dynamics and modern appointments create an instrument that leaves plenty of room for both traditional Fender tones and individual sonic ideas. With its versatile switching concept, ergonomic neck design and improved tremolo hardware, it targets guitarists who value authentic Stratocaster character while demanding contemporary functionality. A sturdy Fender Deluxe Molded Case is included for protected transport.
