Fender American Professional Jazzmaster Oxblood

Fender American Professional Jazzmaster - Classic Character Meets Modern Versatility!

The Fender American Professional Jazzmaster blends the unmistakable character of one of Fender's most distinctive electric guitars with thoughtful features for demanding players. Since its introduction, the Jazzmaster has carved out a place across many genres thanks to its asymmetrical offset body, distinctive tone and expressive vibrato system. The American Professional continues that tradition while expanding the classic concept with modern playability, flexible tonal options and upgraded hardware. Whether you're chasing atmospheric cleans, dynamic crunch riffs or expressive lead passages, this Jazzmaster delivers an exceptional sonic range.

V-Mod III Pickups With Expanded Tonal Options

At the heart of the Fender American Professional Jazzmaster are two V-Mod III Single-Coil Jazzmaster pickups. They deliver the characteristic open Jazzmaster voice with bright highs, well-defined mids and lively dynamic response. The alder body complements the bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fretboard in a classic Fender configuration. Particularly useful is the bridge pickup's tap function: via the push/push tone pot you switch between a powerful, cutting sound and a vintage-voiced setting with reduced output. The revised Rhythm Circuit further broadens the tonal palette: when engaged, the rhythm mode wires both pickups in series for a thicker, fuller sound with increased output. Separate volume and tone knurled controls let you fine-tune each setting independently.

Deep-C Neck Profile for a Natural Playing Feel

With its Deep-C neck profile, the American Professional Jazzmaster offers a comfortable blend of classic Fender feel and modern ergonomics. The gently rounded fretboard edges feel broken-in, while the Super-Natural Satin finish on the back of the neck supports smooth hand movement. The rosewood fretboard with its 9.5-inch radius (241 mm) and Narrow-Tall frets creates ideal conditions for precise chord work, controlled bends and expressive solos. The newly contoured neck heel eases access to the upper registers without abandoning the Jazzmaster's familiar construction.

Panorama Tremolo for Expressive Vibrato

A standout feature of this Jazzmaster is the Panorama Tremolo system with insertable vibrato arm. It expands the Jazzmaster tremolo's classic range of motion and enables both subtle, floating pitch modulation and deeper dive effects. The ClassicGear J-Bridge is engineered for stable string guidance and precise intonation. Combined with Fender Standard staggered tuners, the hardware setup is practical and reliable, supporting the versatile use of the vibrato system. The expressive character of a classic Jazzmaster remains intact while the playing possibilities are significantly extended.

American Professional - A Jazzmaster for Stage and Studio

The Fender American Professional Jazzmaster combines traditional offset aesthetics, modern electronics and high-quality American-made components. The interplay of V-Mod III pickups, switchable bridge-pickup tap, series-wired Rhythm Circuit and Panorama Tremolo makes this model a versatile instrument with a distinct identity. From transparent chord textures and punchy rhythm parts to experimental soundscapes, the Jazzmaster adapts to many musical contexts. The included Deluxe Molded Hard Shell Case protects the instrument during transport and storage. This American-made Fender Jazzmaster preserves the characteristic charm of its historic forebears while opening up significantly more tonal and playing freedom.
