Ibanez RGD61-BAM Electric Guitar in Black Aurora Burst Matte!
The RGD is Ibanez's ultimate metal machine. The demands of downtuning require a specially crafted response you won’t find on "regular" guitars. To optimize the rich, desirably thick tone that downtuning produces, the neck was extended by an inch to a 26.5" scale length. Longer than standard, but not excessively so. The neck still remains a "fast" neck for quick soloing. Extra deep cutaways provide comfortable access to the highest notes on the neck.
The RGD61 features a roasted maple neck with luminescent side dots, a Macassar ebony fretboard with a 26.5" scale, and a Nyatoh body. Additionally, the guitar is equipped with Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker Ceramic pickups, a Mono-rail bridge, and Gotoh MG-T locking tuners.
