The Gretsch Streamliner CVT combines a bold double-cut body shape with straightforward appointments, two powerful humbuckers and a pleasantly compact scale. That gives you a versatile solidbody electric guitar suited equally to punchy rhythm work, singing leads and dynamic chord playing.

Mahogany Body with Distinctive CVT Shape

The solid mahogany body provides the guitar's tonal and structural foundation. Its CVT shape with double cutaway allows easy access to the upper frets and gives the instrument a distinctive Gretsch silhouette. Thanks to the streamlined solidbody construction, the guitar responds immediately to your attack and supports a focused tonal character with strong mids. The single-ply pickguard complements the clean design without distracting from the functional layout.

Fast Neck for Controlled Playing

The bolt-on mahogany neck features a Fast C profile that sits comfortably in the hand and supports both chord work and fast runs. The bound fingerboard of Indian laurel, with its 12-inch radius, offers a balanced playing surface for clean bends, precise runs and comfortable rhythm work. A total of 22 medium-jumbo frets provide a controllable foundation for modern and classic techniques alike. The compact 24.88" (632 mm) scale reduces the required fretting force and delivers a smooth string feel.

Two HotWire Humbuckers with Powerful Response

A HotWire High Output Ceramic humbucker sits at both the neck and bridge positions. The pickups deliver a penetrating, compact core tone with strong output and clear attack. The 3-way switch lets you choose the bridge pickup alone, both humbuckers together or the neck pickup. That gives you tight rhythm tones, balanced blended sounds and fuller lead voices. Master Volume and Master Tone keep the controls straightforward and allow quick tone adjustments directly on the instrument.

Reliable Hardware and Straightforward Operation

The compensated wrap-around bridge is firmly anchored to the body and combines the string anchor and bridge in a streamlined construction. It supports direct vibration transfer and makes the guitar especially easy to handle. Closed die-cast tuners ensure stable tuning, while the Graph Tech NuBone nut provides clean string guidance. From the factory the instrument is fitted with nickel-plated steel strings in gauges .010 to .046, making it ready for versatile rock, blues, indie and alternative sounds.
