The Player II Telecaster embodies timeless Fender charm with its historic design, but under the hood, it’s cutting-edge. Every detail is crafted for smooth playability. The neck features a modern C-profile with a silky satin urethane finish on the back, carrying a maple or rosewood slab fingerboard with a 9.5" radius, softly rounded edges, and 22 medium jumbo frets. The body is available in classic alder, chambered ash, or chambered mahogany. For the finish, you can choose between popular timeless Fender finishes and brand-new vintage colors freshly pulled from the archive.
The Player Series Alnico V Tele single-coils deliver crystal-clear highs, musical mids, and punchy lows. The neck pickup sounds bell-like and smooth, while the bridge pickup gives you the coveted twang. The 3-way switch lets you combine pickups for different tones. Strings run over a bridge with six bent steel saddles. ClassicGear tuners keep your tuning stable.
