The Player II Jazzmaster embodies pure timeless Fender charm. Under the hood, it’s state-of-the-art. Every detail is designed for smooth playability. The neck features a modern C-profile with a silky satin urethane finish on the back and a rosewood slab fretboard with a 9.5" radius, gently rounded edges, and 22 medium jumbo frets. The classic alder body is available in popular timeless Fender finishes—or in brand-new historic vintage colors freshly pulled from the archive.
The Player Series Alnico V Jazzmaster single-coils deliver crystalline, bright highs, harmonious mids, and punchy lows. The neck pickup sounds glassy and bell-like, while the bridge pickup adds a big dose of presence and bite. The 3-way switch lets you combine pickups for different tones. Strings run over a Jazzmaster bridge with floating tremolo and six Mustang saddles. ClassicGear tuners keep your tuning stable.
