I've been looking for a bass for a long time and in the shops I was always offered the company IBANEZ but there was never one for me. Who wants a bass in the color light blue and pink? Not me! The wood optics is very good and looks very noble. There are positive and negative things to report.
It is "easy to play". Because of the "active" pickup the output is very good and you only need to turn up the amp a little. Unfortunately, you should not look closely because between body and pickup are several millimeters of space. Maybe if you want to use new ones... I don't know. I also had to tighten the pickups even though the bass passed the quality control. Well, then you just screw it yourself! The sound is very good. It's a pity that neither in the manual nor on the bass it says what the 4 controls are for. I had to watch a test video on the internet to know which knob is for what.
Very good I find that not only several Allen keys but also an instrument cable were in the package.
Too bad I found that you had to press the buttons for the controllers still something because you have seen the mounting nuts and that was not nice. I would also have liked if these had had a matching "wood look" but that's just wastepaper.
