Wolfgang Design for Precise Feel

The basswood body provides a balanced foundation with punchy mids, quick attack and dependable sustain. The carved top offers ergonomic comfort and reinforces the distinctive Wolfgang playing feel, keeping both rhythmic riffs and solo lines tightly controlled. The bolt-on neck with graphite reinforcement delivers stability and direct transfer, while the aged concept gives the instrument a seasoned, stage-ready aesthetic.

Fast Neck with Compound Radius

The quarter-sawn maple neck features a hand-rubbed satin urethane finish and is shaped in the Wolfgang backshape. It sits comfortably in the hand and supports fast position shifts, powerful rhythm playing and precise bends. The ebony fingerboard with a 12"-16" compound radius combines comfortable chord work low on the neck with a flatter feel for leads higher up. 22 jumbo frets provide plenty of playing comfort and clear response, while the truss-rod adjustment wheel at the heel allows quick setup tweaks.

Direct-Mount Humbuckers with EVH Character

The two EVH Wolfgang humbuckers, mounted directly to the body, deliver a powerful, well-defined sound with long sustain. The bridge pickup produces a biting, cutting tone for power chords, palm mutes and singing leads, while the neck pickup delivers warm lines, wide melodies and strong solo tones. The HH configuration is switched via a 3-way toggle, giving a practical palette for rock, metal, fusion and modern high-gain sounds.

Floyd Rose, D-Tuna and Thoughtful Control

The EVH Floyd Rose locking tremolo bridge with EVH D-Tuna is built for heavy tremolo use and fast drop-D changes. In combination with the Floyd Rose R2 locking nut the tuning stays stable even under aggressive tremolo work. The low-friction volume control with a treble-bleed circuit enables quick volume swells, while the high-friction tone control reduces unwanted tonal shifts during aggressive picking. EVH Gotoh tuners, a brass tremolo block and robust hardware complete the professional specification.
