Sticks are always a matter of taste! At first I had the usual 5A, also from Vic Firth, but the 7A feels better in my hand and suits my playing style. I've also had 7A from other manufacturers, but I stick with Vic Firth. And that has nothing to do with the fact that my drum teacher is a brand ambassador for Vic Firth, I already had the sticks before :-)
