Afuche with High Playing Comfort!

The Cabasa (also called Afuche) is a versatile rhythm instrument that can add accents ranging from short, quiet tones to long, loud sounds.

Classic Construction

A ribbed cylinder made of 1.5 mm thick metal is wrapped with 10 chains, each with 34 beads. Moving the beads over the ribbed plate produces this distinctive sound. Alternatively, the Afuche can be shaken, producing a comparatively quiet but very crisp shaker sound.

Padded Stick

The handle padded with foam rubber feels very comfortable in the hand – and when playing with sweaty hands, the percussion instrument won’t slip out of your grip.

Pleasant Sound, Comfortable Handling!
