The Cabasa (or also called Afuche) is a versatile rhythm instrument, which can set versatile accents from short, soft sounds to long, loud sounds.
Classic construction
Around the ribbed cylinder made of 1.5 mm thick metal, there are 10 chains with 34 beads each. By moving the beads over the checkered plate, this very peculiar sound is heard. Alternatively, the Afuche can also be shaken, which elicits a comparatively quiet, but very concise, shaker sound.
Padded handle
The foam rubber padded handle is not only very comfortable to hold - the percussion instrument will not slip out of your hand when playing with sweaty hands.
