Modern Quartz Crystal Singing Bowl with Accessories

The Sela Crystal Singing Bowl 10" Frosted has a diameter of approx. 25 cm and is made from quartz crystal. The material gains excellent acoustic properties through a special manufacturing process where glass is melted and shaped into the desired form using a centrifuge. The instrument is visually completed by a stylish frosted glass design with a rough, white surface.

Crystal singing bowls, like traditional versions made from bronze or brass alloys, produce spherical, long-lasting sounds with a powerful fundamental tone and "singing," harmonious overtones. The Sela Crystal Singing Bowl Set comes with three mallets specially designed for use with crystal singing bowls. The included mallet with a rubber head and handle made of Asian schima wood fits comfortably in the hand and allows both gentle striking and rubbing of the singing bowls. Additionally, two different glass-made strikers are included. One is half-coated, the other fully coated with silicone. Thanks to the soft coating, the crystal singing bowls can also be softly struck or gently set into vibration by rubbing along the rim. Depending on the chosen mallet, playing technique, and intensity, a wide variety of tones can be coaxed from the Sela Crystal Singing Bowls.
